Hasn’t changed – still highly recommended!

Outstanding food, cold drinks, terrific value and wonderful service. We’ve been visiting for a few years now and I do love the bacon/pork belly but the scallops are my new favourite. So much flavour!

Hill Station has always been an attractive spot to stop for a drink but I’ve previously found the staff to be uninterested and unhelpful. Not any more. We popped in for an afternoon drink as I heard they have a new manager and it definitely shows. Service is now quick, friendly and knowledgeable.

We dropped in to Coquun initially for an after work drink and were so pleasantly surprised we returned for dinner the following night.

Jenkins Street Guesthouse is divine. Housed in a historic building in the centre of a charming Aussie country town, it’s a country B&B that would suit the fussiest of guests.

Such potential but the service was appalling.

I’m not a fan of restaurants with a view because I usually find the experience doesn’t measure up but with Lesley Taylor’s arrival at Surfhouse, I decided it was time to give this one a try. Unfortunately it wasn’t an overly pleasant experience.

Last time I flew first class with Emirates (Sydney to Auckland), I thought it would be my ultimate Emirates experience but with a little bit of planning, here we are again! This time it’s Bangkok to Sydney – a 9 hour grand finale to my three month stay in Vietnam. What a way to finish!

We heard about the Almanity’s brunch during our stay last year but were disappointed to find they had stopped doing it.

Last year, we were looking for a good Sunday brunch/lunch and Four Plates at the Almanity rated highly for everyone but we were disappointed to hear they had discontinued it.

We stopped in at Khamy Resort for a coffee based on it’s street appeal. The café is set in a gorgeous garden overlooking a quiet spot on the river and it looks so inviting. Staff are super friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there.
