What a lovely surprise! We wandered past Nhan’s Kitchen on one of our morning walks and found them setting up for their first day of trade after the Tet celebrations. At first glance, it looks like a little like a neighbourhood trattoria specialising in pizza/pasta/western food but after hearing about the Vietnamese specials we decided to return that night for dinner.

There were three specials – pork ribs, pork stuffed squid and whole red snapper. We opted for all three and we were blown away. Servings were large, super tasty, the flavours were beautifully balanced. Both quality and attention to detail were superb.

Service is terrific. Their English skills are much better than my Vietnamese! Rebecca looked after us with friendly efficiency and a fun sense of humour. All dishes were explained well and as we ordered the specials (off menu), she was careful to ensure we were aware of the price. For the record, it was ridiculously cheap. Apparently the restaurant has only been open for 10 months but they already have a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely vibe.

The pizza smelled delicious and we will definitely try that eventually but for now, we’ll be returning to enjoy their Vietnamese food. Thanks so much for a lovely night. See you again soon!
