Citrus Health Spa – Hoi An, Vietnam

We chose Citrus purely on appearances – from the street it’s light, airy and clean and that theme continues inside. We didn’t have an appointment but the welcome was friendly and we were given ample opportunity to chose the treatment that best suited our needs. We both settled on a Vietnamese massage and after having our feet washed, sipping on tea and selecting our preferred oil based on aroma, we were whisked upstairs to a subtly lit room with a hint of lemongrass in the air. There were four beds (I think) but just two of us for the whole time. The professional massage tables are very comfortable with plenty of fresh, fluffy towels. Therapists moved quietly but precisely and after a very short time, I’m sure I dozed off. The massage was light but that’s exactly as I requested and I my 60 minutes went way too quickly.

All up, it was a professional spa experience in a very relaxed atmosphere and the owner experience in large hotels is definitely evident. I have no hesitation in recommending Citrus and I look forward to trying another of their treatments soon.
