Seasun Restaurant – Hoi An, Vietnam
We first stopped in for afternoon drinks which were cold and cheap, but the welcome was so friendly that, after looking at the menu, we decided to venture back for dinner a few nights later.
We arrived late afternoon for a swim, used the beach chairs and sat in the cool breeze with refreshments served on the sand. As the sun disappeared, we moved to the restaurant and ordered our seafood feast – scallops with shallots and peanuts, grilled whole fish with ginger, garlic and lemongrass, and pan-fried crab with tamarind sauce. All were fresh, full of flavour and beautifully cooked.
Staff are relaxed and friendly and with the sound of the ocean as a backdrop, it’s a terrific spot to watch the sunset. I look forward to returning.
