Queen’s Kitchen – Hoi An, Vietnam

The cute entrance convinced me to go in, the clever street food menu looked impressive (Bánh xèo cups with quail eggs!) and the food did not disappoint. Fresh, tasty and presented with care. There are loads of Vietnamese standards and bbq meats available as well and, given the quality of the food we tasted, I’m sure they would all be fantastic. All the usual refreshments are available with a lovely choice of wines. Service is terrific, friendly and helpful. Love the design and don’t be put off if it looks empty from the street – the deck overlooking the river at the rear is where everyone heads. It’s very stylish and it will become one of our regulars.
