Khanh’s Kitchen – Hoi An, Vietnam
Our initial destination for dinner was busy so we decided to stop at Khanh’s Kitchen for a drink and rethink our dinner plans but then I saw banana and shrimp spring rolls on the menu! Thinking we would have a nibble with our refreshments, we ordered one serve but they were so delicious we decided to stay for dinner and everything else we tried was terrific too. Fish with tomato sauce, chicken kingpao(?) and squid with tamarind – all fresh, clean flavours and decent servings given the very small price. Khanh’s is owned and run by a young husband/wife team and their enthusiasm shows. Service is friendly and brisk. They’re only new, keen for feedback and highly recommended so definitely give them a try if you’re in this part of town.
