BaRin Garden Restaurant – Hoi An, Vietnam
A local friend told us there was a quiet, new place in the Ancient Town with a lovely garden and good food. We were initially sceptical but when we walked down the little laneway at 45 Phan Chu Trinh, we were greeted by an oasis of calm and smiling faces.
Tables were well spaced for privacy (which suited us for date night!) but there were also family groups scattered with plenty of space to relax. Cold drinks (beer and wine) arrived promptly and food not long after but we definitely didn’t feel rushed. We chose mostly Vietnamese dishes and they were all delicious – fresh flavours, tasty but not greasy or overly processed. Value for money is amazing particularly given the quality and what other places around here are charging.
Two very important bonuses here that are sadly missing in many establishments these days: clean, well-lit toilets (ladies!) and comfortable chairs!
It’s becoming more difficult to find a quiet spot in Ancient Town these days. Good food, cold drinks & value for money as well? Even more rare! Try BaRin Garden Restaurant for a break from sightseeing/shopping or a relaxed meal. It’s only new but it’s worth seeking out.
