Jenkins Street Guesthouse – Nundle, NSW Australia
Jenkins Street Guesthouse is divine. Housed in a historic building in the centre of a charming Aussie country town, it’s a country B&B that would suit the fussiest of guests. Guest rooms are beautifully decorated with super comfortable beds (lots of pillows and blankets to choose from), a relaxing sitting area looking over the back garden to the hills beyond and appropriately renovated bathrooms (with a generous supply of toiletries). I believe some rooms have shared facilities. If you do need additional space, the ground floor consists of a restaurant (beaut breakfast!) and cosy sitting room.
If you’re doing the inland north/south run between Sydney and Brisbane or just taking a country drive, it’s well worth a short detour off the New England Highway to visit Nundle but Jenkins Street Guesthouse is a destination all on it’s own. Thanks for an outstanding stay Pip.
