Abel Tasman Motel – Batemans Bay, NSW, Australia
We stayed at the Abel Tasman for just one night to visit family and couldn’t fault it. The property is an ‘old fashioned’ motel in the very best way. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and all the necessary things are available. The location is perfect, just across the road from the beach, a few doors from shops, bakery (good coffee), etc.
The local area is picturesque with friendly people and no loud cars/teenagers/parties. Even with all of that, where this property really excels is the management. Janet and her husband go out of their way to make sure their guests are well looked after – they aren’t intrusive but they are always available for assistance or a friendly chat. They run a tight ship with big smiles! Thanks so much for making our stay so smooth, we will definitely be returning.
Stayed July 2014.
