Chok Dee Bar – Choeng Mon, Koh Samui, Thailand

Chok Dee Bar is one of our favourite places for a drink in Choeng Mon. Even though it is on the main road, it has an open air, beachy feel which is perfect for a stop in the late afternoon but it’s also a relaxed spot for drinks late into the night. The lovely sisters who run the bar are friendly and quick to make everyone feel welcome whether its couples, friends or families.

As an added bonus, they’re also great cooks so if you’re lucky, you’ll pop in for a drink and find that dinner is also served… and it’s delicious! But if it’s just a drink you’re after, you won’t be disappointed at Chok Dee because the beers are cold and the cocktails are delicious (and there are often a few surprise cocktails to try). Located at the western end of the Choeng Mon strip (opposite the Baywater Resort), it’s definitely worth a visit.
