Mr Eung Restaurant – Choeng Mon, Koh Samui, Thailand

We’ve driven past this restaurant a number of times since it opened but our holidays have been full and we had no time to stop. This time, we did and definitely worth the effort. The food is fresh and tasty, not packaged or pre-prepared.

Tod mun goong were full of big, moist chunks of prawn, the gai lan with crispy pork was spot on and the squid served in garlic pepper sauce was soft, not at all chewy. The owner and staff are very friendly and genuinely happy people. Also great value for money!
