The Peninsula – Bangkok, Thailand
I can’t fault it. Rooms are styled with understated luxury and well appointed for both tourists and business travellers. Suites are amazing. Service is consistently excellent – staff go above and beyond every time. Location is great – fantastic for views and still convenient for transport.
Food options are numerous and all are delicious – River Terrace is my favourite particularly for breakfast! But if I’m not in my room, chances are I’ll be in a cabana (with a ceiling fan!) by the pool. With fluffy towels and ice water replenished often, and a killer cocktail list, it’s heaven. I look forward to visiting again in May.
All rooms have river views but if you can stretch the budget to a suite, do it!
