Flavours are great. Both the sobrasada and jamon are lovely quality, the bbq squid is delicious with just the right amount of resistance and meatballs are tasty. The disappointment for me is the paella – it’s normally one of my favourite meals but this version didn’t rate for me. I found it way too moist, not enough flavour and no skin on the bottom.
In fact, it brought back memories from childhood of the old packet rice-a-riso. Accepting that the paella might be perfectly agreeable to others, the main reason I won’t return in a hurry is the serving sizes. Definitely not value for money but maybe that’s something that will change.
